Badger Paralegal helps people incarcerated in Wisconsin and their loved ones organize sentence-adjustment packet materials. Preparation starts at $250; scope is confirmed before engagement.
Use How it works, Preview your packet, the Records checklist and the printable intake worksheet. Incarcerated people can contact intake@badgerparalegal.com through their facility-approved messaging system. Include name, DOC number, facility and messaging provider. Family, supporters and people outside can contact support@badgerparalegal.com.
To ask about a packet, choose your role, enter your name and email, add an optional phone and brief message, authorize contact, and select Send request. Keep the reference number. This saves a website inquiry for operator review; it does not send an email.
Keep Social Security numbers, medical records and sensitive case documents out of the first message. Case enrollment requires sign-in, identity verification and the petitioner’s authorization. A family relationship alone does not grant access. Upload documents only in the approved case area.
Badger Paralegal provides document preparation, is not a law firm and does not guarantee eligibility, release or a court outcome. The court decides relief. Filing is not automatic.

You can start without family assistance. Contact intake@badgerparalegal.com through your facility-approved messaging system. Include your name, DOC number, facility and messaging provider. Keep sensitive records out of your first message.
Use the printable intake worksheet at BadgerParalegal.com/intake, or ask an authorized helper to print it. Enter the identity, facility, county, case, counts, sentence details and petition history you know. Mark unknown answers; do not guess dates or eligibility.
Gather copies of judgments, DOC sentence and computation records, complete conduct history, program certificates and available support letters. Note what is missing or requested. Keep originals and copies.
Petitioner authorization and operator review come before case access and document handling. Official forms, computations, signatures and mailing require separate review. The intake worksheet is not a court petition. The checklist is at BadgerParalegal.com/inmate-checklist.
Document preparation only. Not a law firm. No outcome guarantee. Website and video access inside an institution is not assumed.

Start at BadgerParalegal.com and choose Ask about a packet. Select your role, enter your contact details and a brief message, consent to contact, select Send request and save the reference. Family and support questions go to support@badgerparalegal.com.
Get the incarcerated person’s authorization. Being family does not grant case access or permission to share protected records. Identity and permission are verified before access.
Gather readable PDFs or clear phone photos of documents you are authorized to provide. Include all pages, label the documents and keep originals. Signed support letters should describe firsthand observations and specific, realistic help such as housing, work or mentoring.
Upload only in the protected case area after access is approved. Do not put Social Security numbers, medical records or private case details in the public form, comments or unverified email.
Badger organizes documents for review; the court decides relief. Not a law firm. No outcome guarantee. Payments are currently closed. Use the printable checklist at BadgerParalegal.com/inmate-checklist.
